Terry Marine is hiring a skilled Marine Construction General Laborer (Dockbuilder) to join our field operations in Bridgeport, CT. The role involves assisting with docks and marine structures, performing heavy fabrication, and operating power tools in a hands-on setting.

We value construction trade experience—carpentry, masonry, welding, and equipment operation—along with eagerness to learn and adapt on site. Competitive hourly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction or dock building experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction and installation of docks and marine structures.
• Perform heavy steel fabrication, rigging, cutting, and assembly.
• Operate power tools and assist with carpentry, concrete, and other jobsite tasks.
• Work alongside machine operators and step into operating roles as needed (if trained).
• Torch cutting and basic welding support (training available if needed).
• Collaborate with a team to meet daily construction goals and adapt to changing priorities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company safety policies.
