Terry Marine is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our field operations team. You will operate a variety of heavy equipment on dynamic marine construction projects, including excavators, payloaders, and skid steers.

Responsibilities include site prep, material handling, and assisting with pile driving and pier construction in Connecticut coastal areas. We value a reliable team player with 4+ years of experience, capable of working outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience operating heavy equipment on marine construction sites.
• Willingness to perform manual labor as needed.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Crane operator certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, payloaders, and skid steers on marine construction sites.
• Perform site prep, load/unload materials, and assist with pile driving, demolition, and installation.
• Assist labor crews with hands-on tasks when equipment is not in use.
• Maintain equipment safety and cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure project timelines and safety goals are met.
• Participate in site safety meetings and follow all OSHA and company guidelines.
• Adapt to changing site conditions and tasks based on project needs.

Schedule

Full-Time - Monday to Friday, with opportunity for overtime
