Qualifications

• Must have good communication and handle pressure.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willing to work nights and weekend shifts.
• 1–2 years dock/warehouse experience expected.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or warehouse equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers using manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Sort and organise freight in the dock area according to destination or shipment priority.
• Inspect freight for damage, verify labeling and documentation and report any discrepancies.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organised and safe dock environment.
• Ensure proper handling and securement of freight to prevent damage during transit.
• Communicate with dispatchers, drivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely processing of shipments.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures during operations.
