The primary function of the Shop Technician is to inspect, diagnose and repair customer’s lift trucks and various material handling equipment. Conduct overall inspection to verify the truck is up to safety standards and perform maintenance, repair, replacement and troubleshooting as well as other duties required by management.
Sitting, standing, and walking (continuous); frequent use of computers and telephone requiring repetitive finger, hand, and arm movement; occasionally carry office supplies and other miscellaneous items up to 50 pounds. Continuous use of seeing, hearing, verbal communication.
Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
