Eastern Lift Truck Co. - Dock and Door Technician

Main Duties:

1. Oversee and assist in the repair of overhead doors and dock leveling systems.
2. Research and resolve issues to customer satisfaction within policy while interacting effectively with persons of diverse backgrounds.
3. Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of overhead doors and dock leveling systems.
4. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems related to overhead doors and dock leveling systems.
5. Work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts. Wear PPE and fall protection equipment.

Requirements:

• Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining commercial overhead steel doors.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding/fabricating experience is a plus.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Good driving record and active driver's license.
