IDOC is looking to hire an Office Assistant to establish and maintain files and prepare reports on incoming individuals in custody. Prepares reports on incoming individuals in custody which includes copies of their mittimus papers, statement of facts, face sheets and Federal Bureau of Investigation sheets.
Prepares and keyboards face sheets from court and mittimus papers for individuals in custody entering the Reception and Classification Center.
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school and one (1) year of related office experience.
Required to utilize digital technology, tools, platforms, and processes in managing and supporting various digital enhancements for greater efficiency, productivity, and digital transformation efforts within the department.
