Job summary

This is a full-time on-site role for a NYC DOB Licensed Site Safety Manager located in the New York City Metropolitan Area.

You will ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, conduct safety training, and implement Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)

Qualifications

• Must have NYC DOB Site Safety Manager license and FDNY Certificate of Fitness S56.
• Experience with major building construction development projects.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and implement EHS protocols.
• Conduct safety training and oversee site safety programs.
• Review construction/engineering designs and plans to ensure safety and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Perform daily safety inspections and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with Safety Director and Construction Superintendent to maintain a safe, compliant worksite.
