Job summary

American Medical Associates is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead a nursing team at a skilled nursing facility in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. The role offers a $10K sign-on bonus and a base salary range of $140K–$160K.

The DON will supervise all nursing staff, develop policies, oversee hiring, and ensure staff competencies and conduct. Sub-acute experience and SigmaCare familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have New York RN license.
• 3–5+ years of experience as an ADON or DON.
• Must have long‑term care experience.
• Sub‑acute experience strongly preferred.
• SigmaCare experience preferred.
• Must be a self‑starter and energetic.
• Strong clinical background and knowledge.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all nursing staff in the facility
• Development and implementation of nursing policy and procedure
• Overseeing the hiring and continued employment of nursing staff
• Ensuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff's skills remain current
• Overseeing nursing employee conduct
• Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility
• Assessing the health needs of each resident

Currently seeking a Director of Nursing to lead a nursing team at a skilled nursing facility located in Croton-On Hudson, NY

$10K SIGN ON BONUS

Base Salary: $140K to $160K range

Requirements of the Directorof Nursing:

• Must have a New York RN license
• MUST have a minimum of 3-5+ years of experience as an ADON or DON
• Must have recent experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing or Director of Nursing in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting
• Must have long‑term care experience
• Sub‑acute experience strongly preferred
• SigmaCare experience preferred
• Must be a self‑starter and energetic
• Strong clinical background and knowledge
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
