Job summary

Augusta University College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in the DNP Nurse Anesthesia program. The College of Nursing offers BSN, MSN, DNP, and PhD programs with clinical experiences across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include didactic teaching, course coordination, student mentoring, curricular development, committee service, and ongoing scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree relevant to the area of practice (PhD, DNP, DNAP).
• Active nursing licensure in Georgia or eligibility to apply for a Georgia nursing license.
• Board certification in nurse anesthesia (CRNA).
• Experience as a full-time nurse anesthetist.

Responsibilities

• Engage in didactic teaching in DNP core and/or concentration courses.
• Course coordination and evaluation.
• Partner with preceptors for student learning and evaluation.
• Participate in curricular development and evaluation.
• Participate on College of Nursing and university committees.
• Mentor students in DNP projects and engage in scholarly activities.
