Job summary

Eurofins Genomics in Louisville, KY is hiring a DNA Purification Technician I/II to join our production team. This full-time role requires supporting purification and post-purification workflows in a 24/7 operation, with a consistent day schedule on one shift.

The candidate will help process oligonucleotide products and maintain quality documentation. The ideal candidate has a biology-related degree, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and comfort with fast-paced

Qualifications

• Degree in biology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed written procedures and accurately complete documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to lift 35+ pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Post-synthesis processing including cleavage, deprotection, drying, and formulation of oligonucleotide products.
• Purification using HPLC, PAGE, desalting and other techniques.
• Follow approved purification and post-purification work instructions.
• Prepare buffers and laboratory solutions.
• Complete batch records and documentation accurately.
• Use LIMS for daily work, order tracking and documentation.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor process and equipment issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized 5S workspace and comply with safety rules.
• Complete training including annual RCRA awareness.
• Take on additional duties as needed by the business.
