Job summary

Real Projectives® is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for the DMV area (DC, MD, VA). You will support project managers across TI, renovations, and new developments, delivering high-quality output per established standards.

This role emphasizes precise, prioritized work and collaborative vendor coordination. Based in Laurel, MD, you will travel locally and nationally as needed, with responsibilities including scheduling, meetings, budgeting, and progress reporting to clients and owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, building engineering, real estate, or architecture preferred or in another field subject to equivalent work experience.
• Record of continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers to plan, execute and control projects.
• Maintain project financial tracker spreadsheet.
• Coordinate and attend project meetings and site visits; prepare respective minutes/notes.
• Review progress documentation, compile and distribute comments, and track responses.
• Travel to sites and observe work progress to maintain timely project knowledge.
• Prepare monthly internal and client project status reports and evaluations.
• Support project team with due diligence review, status of entitlements, approvals/permits.
• Help identify, evaluate, and select project team of consultants; review proposals.
• Communicate issues with project teams to ensure owners, designers, consultants, and contractors are appropriately informed.
