Job summary

Demathieu Bard Canada is seeking a Project Engineer to support heavy civil projects in the DMV region. You will report to the Project Manager and help keep projects on schedule and within budget, using your expertise in site development, earthworks, and coordinating with subcontractors and design teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field, 3-5 years with a GC, and an EIT. Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD and related tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• EIT certification is required/preferred.
• 3-5 years experience with a General Contractor.
• Earthworks and site development experience is required.
• Data center construction experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of construction project management and means/methods.

Responsibilities

• Meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedule and confirm materials, equipment, and resources.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews.
• Review shop drawings, design specs, material requirements and project data.
• Provide technical input for project work plan and scheduling.
• Identify risk elements that could impact budget or schedule.
• Evaluate daily production, schedule and budget projections.
