The Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is currently recruiting to fill a DMV Customer Service Representative - Entry position.
This position is headquartered at the Hill Farms State Office Building in Madison, WI.

Position Summary
This position is part of the License Plate and Postal Services Unit, which handles acquisition, inventory management, and distribution of up to 1.5 million Wisconsin license plates, related validation stickers, and disabled hang tags annually. The unit collects, processes, and delivers thousands of pieces of incoming and outgoing mail for the department. This also includes sorting and routing mail to other state agencies located at 4822 Madison Yards Way in Madison and acting as the liaison between the building's agencies and DOA Mail Transportation. This position is responsible for auditing, management, and distribution of registration materials including vehicle titles, certificates of registration, license plates, validation stickers, and related materials.
Salary Information
This position is in schedule-range 02-10. The starting pay for this position is $20.02/hr, plus excellent benefits. A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.
WisDOT does not sponsor work visas. Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States. WisDOT is not an E-verify employer.
Prior to any appointments for position(s) filled from this announcement, candidates may be subject to a comprehensive criminal background check which may include FBI fingerprinting.
This position may qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) which forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan, while working full-time for a qualifying employer.
This position requires the ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds with occasional lifting up to 70 pounds.
