Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of San Francisco seeks a DMV Clerk to handle DMV title processing and related duties with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service by phone and email, maintaining title and payoff schedules, and preparing purchase and trade-in paperwork. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of DMV/title processing experience.
• Tekion experience strongly preferred.
• Positive attitude and self-motivation.
• Extremely organized with attention to detail.
• Willing to submit to a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process DMV title documents in a time sensitive manner to meet standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service via phone and email.
• Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
• Prioritize tasks effectively.
• Prepare purchase and trade-in documentation.
• Contact banks to obtain lien releases.
• Prepare DMV paperwork for in-state and out-of-state submissions.
• Maintain DMV and payoff schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Post bundle reconciliations.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:

• Prepare and process DMV title documents in a time sensitive manner to achieve or exceed title reporting standards
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service via phone and email
• Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing
• Ability to prioritize
• Prepare purchase and trade-in documentation
• Contact banks to obtain lien releases
• Prepare paperwork for submission to the DMV (in state and out of state)
• Maintain DMV and payoff schedules
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Post bundle reconciliations
