Job summary

South College Pittsburgh Campus is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Clinical Coordinator for the Vascular Program. This full-time, on-site role is based in Cranberry Township, PA, and supports clinical and student placement needs in alignment with program requirements.

The candidate will establish and maintain clinical site partnerships, supervise clinical operations, coordinate student rotations, and ensure timely communication with sites and faculty while upholding institutional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in a related field.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer.
• Experience in supervision, instruction, evaluation, and student guidance.
• Possess appropriate credential(s) specific to the concentration coordinated.

Responsibilities

• Support the Department Chair or Program Director with clinical and student placement needs in compliance with programmatic clinical requirements.
• Establish and assess all clinical site partnerships weekly to ensure placement needs are met and to support program growth.
• Coordinate, evaluate, and supervise the program’s clinical operations.
• Maintain real-time student clinical records, including hours and grades, and compliance with standards.
• Plan, coordinate and schedule student clinical rotations to align with curriculum and outcomes.
• Coordinate evaluations of clinical sites and experiences to ensure effective learning and outcomes.
