BridgeValley Community and Technical College in West Virginia invites applications for a Part-Time Clinical Coordinator for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. The role coordinates clinical education with didactic assignments, provides classroom instruction, and evaluates student progress.

The position supports the program leadership, maintains clinical site relationships, and ensures compliance with JRC-DMS and CAAHEP standards while contributing to student success and program

Qualifications

• Two-years full-time professional experience as a general sonographer, cardiac sonographer, pediatric cardiac sonographer, and/or vascular technologist (full time is defined as at least 35 hours per week); and an academic degree no lower than an associate's degree
• Demonstrate experience as a clinical or didactic instructor in general, cardiac, pediatric, and or vascular technology
• Bachelor's degree preferred; RDCS or RCS credentials

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in classroom and clinical settings
• Coordinate clinical site rotations and help maintain relationships through open communication
• Participate in student advising and counseling
• Evaluate student learning academically and clinically
• Participate in program evaluation/assessment and development
• Assist with recruitment and selection of students
• Maintain compliance with JRC-DMS and CAAHEP requirements
• Act as liaison between DMS and BV faculty and staff, other colleges and universities, and clinical affiliates
• Lead in schedule preparation and student record keeping
