Job summary

Platt College Los Angeles is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Clinical Coordinator to align clinical and didactic education for the DMS program. You will schedule student rotations, recruit clinical sites, and act as clinical faculty for DMS courses.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, ARDMS RDMS with Abdominal & OB/GYN registries in good standing, and at least four years of general sonography experience; RVT/RDCS registries are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in a related subject area from an accredited college
• ARDMS RDMS credential with registries in Abdominal and OB/GYN in good standing
• Additional registries in RVT or RDCS preferred in good standing
• Equivalent of four (4) years full-time professional experience as a general sonographer
• Prior experience in an educational environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical education with didactic education for the DMS program
• Determine student clinical rotation schedules and serve as clinical faculty
• Acquire clinical sites and manage student placements per affiliation agreements
• Coordinate graduate job placement efforts with Career Services and related departments
