Job summary

Success Education Colleges is seeking a Program Director for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program. The role ensures quality and compliance with accreditation standards, supervises instruction, and maintains high pass and placement rates.

The position reports to Campus and Corporate Directors of Academic Operations. Responsibilities include curriculum oversight, instructor training, and cross-department coordination to support student success and program integrity.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of DMS program requirements, accreditation, and standards.
• Flexible leadership and development of faculty.
• Ability to teach from a standardized curriculum.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching adult learners.
• Strong customer-focused skills and diplomacy.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Available for evening and possible weekend hours.
• Minimum three years' experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate instructor performance based on observations and feedback; provide corrective guidance.
• Teach DMS classes as assigned and serve as a professional role model.
• Advise students on grades, attendance, and behavior.
• Oversee quality assurance of the DMS program using internal/external tools.
• Ensure compliance with ACCSC standards and state/federal regulations.
• Plan, evaluate, and supervise curriculum revisions and implementation.
• Coordinate instructor selection and orientation; interview applicants.
• Provide ongoing instructor training on new content and equipment.
• Lead regular department meetings and share minutes with leadership.
• Interface with Admissions, Financial Aid, Placement, and Registrar.
