Job summary

Chattanooga College MDTC seeks a Program Director of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) to provide strategic leadership and program oversight. You will manage faculty and students, ensure accreditation standards, and support curriculum development within a robust hybrid learning environment.

The role requires extensive knowledge of CAAHEP standards, sonography practices, and strong collaboration with clinical partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current and valid credentials in one or more sonography concentrations (RDMS, RDCS, RVT).
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, program evaluation, and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and management to the DMS program faculty and students.
• Ensure accreditation compliance, curriculum development, and student success.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop faculty; maintain records and confidentiality per FERPA and standards.
• Oversee student retention, success initiatives, and collaboration with clinical partners.
• Lead use of hybrid learning technologies and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
