Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our team in Dallas, supporting one of our clean rooms. This role interfaces with engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues and provide process and product support.

Responsibilities include performing technical tests in wafer fabrication, auditing and guiding line operators, and testing new products while partnering with process development and engineering to keep production flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of semiconductor experience as Technician OR 8 years in non-semiconductor/military Technician roles.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour compressed schedule.

Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our team supporting one of our clean rooms. This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material.


Responsibilities Include


  • Perform technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers

  • Monitor, audit and provide guidance to line operators once the product is on the line

  • Test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel


Minimum requirements


  • High School diploma/GED

  • 18 years of age or older

  • One of the following:


    • 2 years of semiconductor experience as Technician OR

    • 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience


  • Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule


Preferred Qualifications


  • Ability to identify, multi-task, and resolve multiple priority issues quickly and efficiently to improve overall fab performance

  • Ability to learn and understand process flow quickly, and support the engineering organization as needed

  • Outstanding organizational, teaming, and troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes

  • Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving skills

  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

  • Strong time management skills
