Job summary

Health Aid of Ohio in Columbus is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain patient-owned, rental, and VA equipment, reporting to the Branch Manager. The role requires delivering, assembling, and servicing equipment, with on-call responsibilities in the evenings and weekends, and training patients on proper use of care devices.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift heavy items regularly.
• Good communication skills and fluent English.
• Basic computer skills.
• License and registration required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain patient-owned and VA equipment.
• Assemble, repair and deliver products and equipment.
• Perform service calls in office and field; participate in on-call rotation.
• Provide patient instruction on proper use of equipment.
• Maintain vehicle, paperwork, and relevant records.
• Attend to evening and weekend on-call schedules as needed.
• Complete continuing education credits as directed.
