Job summary

TheDME Program Manager at Access Alaska, Inc. leads the daily operations of the Durable Medical Equipment, Independent Living Advocacy, and CDPCS departments, ensuring efficient store management and compliant service delivery.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with consumers and healthcare partners, and uphold HIPAA requirements while promoting independence and community integration for individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• General mechanical/electrical/plumbing training is preferred.
• At least 5 years of small equipment repair and maintenance experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the DME Store operations, inventory, repairs, and records.
• Provide excellent customer service and coordinate with consumers and partners.
• Protect patient health information and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Promote person-centered services and community integration.
• Travel to Anchorage or Fairbanks as needed.
• Maintain MS Office skills and data entry accuracy.
• Perform duties with reliability and flexible support.
