Access Alaska, Inc. seeks a DME Program Manager to lead the Durable Medical Equipment, Independent Living Advocacy, and CDPCS operations, ensuring safe, compliant service and client-centered supports across programs.

You will supervise staff, manage inventory and store operations, coordinate repairs, and collaborate with consumers, healthcare providers, and community partners while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality. Travel to Anchorage or Fairbanks may be required.

Qualifications

  • Highschool or GED diploma required.
  • General mechanical/electrical/plumbing credentialing/training.
  • 5 years of small equipment repair and maintenance.
  • 3 years of management and supervision of employees.
  • Ability to read diagrams.
  • Ability to utilize basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers).
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools, word processing and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and supervision of DME, IL, and CDPCS departments.
  • Ensure efficient operation of the DME store, including inventory management, sanitation and maintenance, staff supervision, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with consumers, community partners, healthcare providers, and internal staff to facilitate access to durable medical equipment and independent living support.
  • Receive donated equipment, complete minor repairs, sanitize/clean, maintain equipment inventory, document work activities, and maintain records.
  • Protect PHI and confidentiality; ensure compliance with HIPAA.
