Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a dedicated DME Referrals Coordinator to link referral sources with durable medical equipment needs for patients. You will manage intake for referrals and respond to calls, helping Customer Service & Delivery staff perform duties efficiently.

This role supports compassionate care within a faith-based system and requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, accurate orders and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School/GED (required).
• Experience with durable medical equipment (DME) preferred.
• Excellent communication and coordination with referral sources.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and coordinates with referral sources for DME referrals.
• Facilitates delivery of DME to patients.
• Collaborates with case management to ensure smooth discharges for patient satisfaction.
• Communicates orders and documentation with departments and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provides and instructs clients in installation and operation of DME equipment.
• Maintains knowledge of department products and communicates capabilities.
