Job summary

You will manage general intake for referrals for DME and respond to phone calls, assisting the Manager or Supervisor to ensure Customer Service and Delivery staff perform duties effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with referral sources for DME referrals and facilitate delivery.
• Collaborate with case management to ensure smooth discharges for patient satisfaction.
• Communicate with departments about orders and documentation; report observations to the interdisciplinary team.
• Process orders in accordance with policy within designated time frames.
• Instruct clients in installation and operation of DME equipment.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development.
• Comply with FDA, DOT, and PUC requirements for home oxygen and hazardous materials.
• Maintain knowledge of DME products and services.
