Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, part of SCA Health, seeks a DME Coordinator to manage the durable medical equipment program at our outpatient orthopedic clinics in Ohio. You will oversee daily operations, inventory, and patient education under physician supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–3 years of DME or rehab experience, and familiarity with medical terminology and authorizations. Team collaboration and accurate documentation are essential.

Formación

• DME experience preferred.
• 1–3 years in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with DME or rehabilitation prior authorizations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily DME program operations at the assigned site.
• Manage ordering, documentation, and data entry for DME and supplies.
• Establish and monitor DME inventory.
• Conduct on-site patient fitting and education for DME.
• Handle precertification and preauthorization requests.
• Track paperwork to facilitate insurance billing of DME.
• Educate clinic staff on DME policies and procedures.
