Sanford Health in Chamberlain, SD is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support durable medical equipment customers. You will process orders, verify patient information, obtain authorizations, and answer inquiries by phone, fax, and email.

In this full-time, day-shift role, you’ll educate patients about insurance, assist with product selection, balance cash drawers, and maintain documentation while upholding Medicare and payer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service abilities and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology preferred.
• Proficiency with computer functions and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and enter patient demographics into the system.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, and providers about coverage and benefits of DME products.
• Obtain required authorizations and ensure payer documentation meets requirements.
• Educate patients on insurance provisions and financial responsibilities.
