Job summary

Northeast Respiratory Services in Eagan, MN is seeking a seasoned Billing Specialist to handle full-cycle DME billing. This in-person role focuses on claim submissions, denial resolution, appeals, and accounts receivable follow-up from our Eagan office five days a week.

You will work with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers, ensuring compliance with DMEPOS and payer rules while reducing denials and improving cash flow.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of full cycle medical billing experience, preferably in DME/HME.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance terminology and payer rules.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Submit and monitor DME claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Verify insurance and obtain required authorizations.
• Research, correct, and resubmit denied/rejected claims.
• Conduct accounts receivable follow-ups and payment postings.
• Communicate with payers to resolve issues and ensure timely payment.
