Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a detail-oriented Django Developer to join our growing development team in Phoenix. With 2+ years of Django/Python backend experience, you will build robust web applications and collaborate across Sales, Admin, Support, and Data teams to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.

You will design features, debug full-stack issues, organize requirements, participate in code reviews, and develop ETL pipelines for Power BI reporting.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with Django and Python for backend development
  • Must be in the Pacific Time Zone or Mountain Time Zone
  • Proficiency with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Solid understanding of full-stack architecture and deployment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new product features and enhancements

Job Description

We areseekinga detail-oriented and drivenDjango Developer to join our growing development team. This role is ideal for a developer with at least two years of experience who is passionate about building robust web applications and collaborating across departments to create scalable, user-centric solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products aligned with business goals.
