Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Django Developer to join our growing development team. With 2+ years of Django/Python and Vue.js experience, you will build robust web applications, integrate APIs, and collaborate across departments to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.

You will work on ETL pipelines, Power BI reporting integrations, and cross-functional features, contributing to performance and reliability improvements while partnering with Sales, Admin, and Support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Django and Python for backend development.
• 2+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Vue.js).
• Proficiency with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using Django and JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and implement new product features and enhancements.
• Debug and resolve issues across the full stack.
• Assist in organizing and documenting requirements from business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and development planning.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Admin, Support) to refine feature requirements.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformations for Power BI reporting.
• Develop integrations with external systems (e.g., ERP, email, data APIs).

Job Description

We areseekinga detail-oriented and drivenDjango Developerto join our growing development team. This role is ideal for a developer with at least two years of experience who is passionate about building robust web applications and collaborating across departments to create scalable, user-centric solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products aligned with business goals.
