Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a detail-oriented Django Developer to join our growing development team in Phoenix, AZ. You will build robust web applications, collaborate across departments, and deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.

Requirements include 2+ years in Django/Python, 2+ years with modern JS (Vue.js preferred), PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and cloud exposure (AWS/Azure). You will work with Sales, Admin, and Support to refine features and ensure performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Django and Python backend development.
• 2+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred).
• Proficiency with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Solid understanding of full-stack architecture and deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using Django and JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and implement new product features and enhancements.
• Debug and resolve issues across the full stack.
• Assist in organizing and documenting requirements from business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and development planning.

Job Description

We areseekinga detail-oriented and driven Django Developerto join our growing development team. This role is ideal for a developer with at least two years of experience who is passionate about building robust web applications and collaborating across departments to create scalable, user-centric solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products aligned with business goals.
