Job summary

The Bergaila Companies is seeking a temporary contractor to support DJ Basin land activities from Denver, Colorado. You’ll apply your oil and gas land expertise to resolve ownership questions, verify title, and support land administration across multiple teams.

This 5–6 month assignment offers $90–$95 per hour on a 9/80 schedule, with surge capacity for staffing transitions and cross-functional collaboration across Land, Division Order, Revenue, Operations and Legal teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of oil and gas land experience required.
• Significant DJ Basin assets experience.
• Strong knowledge of mineral and leasehold ownership, title, division orders.
• Experience reviewing title opinions, assignments, conveyances and ownership records.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve post-production ownership questions and discrepancies.
• Review ownership data and related land records.
• Support ownership verification for producing assets.
• Compile and maintain land and ownership information for projects.
• Coordinate with Land, Division Order, Revenue, Operations, Regulatory and Legal teams.
• Assist with reports and management requests.
• Provide surge capacity during staffing transitions.
