Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert product knowledge and exceptional customer service for DIY customers. You will use store systems and part knowledge to locate parts and support services like battery testing and wiper installations.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. ASE P2 certification is preferred but not required; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and parts lookup required.
• A valid driver's license and ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
