Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to join our team. The role requires expert store systems knowledge, parts lookup skills, and strong DIY service capabilities.

You will help customers with battery installations, testing, wiper installs, and advanced parts sourcing while maintaining high service standards and store appearance. ASE P2 certification is preferred; 3–5 years of automotive parts experience required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability in retail fulfillment.
• Valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and diagnostic equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Assist in inventory processes including truck put away, back stock and cycle counts.
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems; stock and organize parts.
