Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions with expert knowledge of store systems and parts. The role emphasizes advanced identification, sourcing, and customer service, with responsibilities including battery testing, wiper installs, and maintaining store appearance.

The position is full-time and requires strong knowledge of automotive systems, selling skills, and inventory procedures, along with ASE readiness or certification where possible.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
