Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert automotive parts knowledge and a high-quality customer service experience for DIY customers both in-store and over the phone.

The role requires strong familiarity with store inventory, parts catalogs, and diagnostic equipment for basic DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements, along with reliable operation of POS and parts lookup systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Must speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and manuals
• Able to perform basic math and use Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers via in-store visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Perform key holder duties including safety, opening/closing tasks and supervision
