Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Parts Pro in New Jersey. This full-time role requires expert knowledge of automotive parts, store systems, and DIY service execution to assist customers both in-store and by phone.

You will handle parts identification, sourcing, and order fulfilment, while maintaining high standards of customer service and store appearance. A valid driver's license is required and ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety rules.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
