Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Butler, NJ seeks a Retail Parts Pro, a professional sales role with expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and DIY service capabilities.

You will assist customers in person and by phone, meet sales goals, handle duties of a key holder, and support inventory and service tasks such as battery installations and wiper replacements.

Candidates typically have 3–5 years of auto parts experience; ASE is a plus but not required; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
