Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY customer needs in our stores across the United States. The role combines expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and diagnostics equipment to deliver accurate parts identification and high‑quality service.

You will handle in‑person and phone sales, meet personal and store goals, and participate in inventory, safety, and opening/closing tasks as a key holder. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability in fulfillment of transactions.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities including opening/closing duties.
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
