Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY customers with expert knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive diagnostics. This full-time role requires strong sales and customer service skills and may involve weekend scheduling.

The position emphasizes parts sourcing, inventory control, and providing high-quality service while using diagnosics tools and POS systems. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• ASE certification preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in inventory processes and keep store tidy.
