Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts identification. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, drive sales, and perform tasks such as battery testing and wiper installations to ensure top‑notch service.

With strong automotive knowledge and inventory skills, you will use POS and parts lookup systems to source parts, manage store standards, and support safety and opening/closing duties as a key holder.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and parts catalogs.
• Ability to read and interpret parts diagrams.
• Valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacement.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties including opening/closing and safety.
• Assist in inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Provide accurate parts lookup and rapid sourcing when needed.
