Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States to support advanced DIY services and parts knowledge. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, manage battery installations, testing, and other DIY services, and help maintain store appearance and inventory accuracy.

The role requires strong automotive parts knowledge, customer service skills, and ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems. Prior parts experience and ASE certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• ASE certification preferred or ready
• Valid driver2 s license required

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes and back stock management
• Operate store POS and parts lookup systems
• Use diagnostic equipment for DIY services
