Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Goshen, IN seeks a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert DIY support, part lookup, and service coordination. You will help customers in-store and over the phone, run advanced inventory tasks, and perform battery tests, wiper installs, and related services.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of automotive systems, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with a track record in transactions.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and manuals.
• Strong math, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with customers, peers and management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
