Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and strong customer interaction skills.

Part-time or full-time options are available, with fleet safety certification preferred. The position emphasizes excellent customer service, basic diagnostic awareness, inventory accuracy, and safe delivery of parts as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Basic math skills and ability to work varied shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and stocking duties.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
