Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert vehicle parts knowledge, inventory expertise, and advanced store systems proficiency. The role emphasizes accurate parts lookup, high service standards, and contributing to achieving sales goals.

The position requires 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work various shifts. ASE certification is preferred but not required. Full-time role based in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience or related sales
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• Must be able to read and interpret parts catalogs and service information
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Perform key holder responsibilities including opening/closing duties
• Assist in inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock
• Maintain store cleanliness and basic maintenance tasks
