Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales/services objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and basic parts knowledge.

It can be part time or full time, with a focus on delivering excellent DIY customer experiences and contributing to inventory and service goals. Responsibilities include handling DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), stock maintenance, and safe delivery of parts

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems.
• Basic math and ability to read shop procedures and safety rules.
• Speak and read English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards and assist with inventory processes.
