Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, delivering friendly service and helping achieve sales goals. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

You will perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements, manage inventory, and uphold store standards. Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
