Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson in Suffolk, VA to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, with safety certification preferred. Key duties include assisting DIY customers in-store and over the phone, achieving personal sales goals, performing battery tests and wiper

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English with clear communication.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and safe delivery of parts when needed.
