Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with strong product knowledge and store systems usage.

The role may be part-time or full-time and involves delivering parts to customers, performing basic DIY services, and contributing to inventory accuracy. Candidates should have 2-3 years of retail sales experience, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to work various shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

Basic driving and navigation ability.
Ability to use delivery board system.
Friendly communication and customer service focus.
Ability to locate and stock parts.
Knowledge of safety rules and procedures.
Familiarity with inventory systems and store equipment.
Experience with POS and parts lookup systems.
Proficiency with testing/diagnostic equipment for DIY services.
English language skills (Spanish a plus).

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
Achieve personal sales goals and support store targets.
Offer DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installations.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
Maintain store cleanliness and general stocking tasks.
Safely deliver parts to customers as required.
