Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring a Salesperson to support the DIY customer journey in-store and by phone, contributing to sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

It can be part-time or full-time, with safety and inventory responsibilities. Responsibilities include battery installations, wiper installs, curbside or in-store service, and maintaining merchandising standards

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Ability to use store systems and inventory processes.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and basic automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
